This is the third book in the Jack of All Trades series, but each book is a stand alone story. In this book Jack is employed by a private school to repair damage caused by a break-in during a theft. What he discovers is a family run business which is in danger of closing after 200 years. The father, Graham is headmaster and his wife Vicky is his bursar. Daughters Ellie and Kathy are teachers. When 3 members of the family decide something drastic has to be done murder ensues. When Jack's daughter discovers the body he gets dragged into the investigation. This is an entertaining and well written series. I will be waiting for the next book in the series.Product details

Marginally less outstanding than the first two books about Jack. Jack didn't seem quite himself. But the writing is again really good. Multiple points of view are handled very well by Mr Smith. (I really dislike multiple first person, but these are multiple third person).
